Add checkboxes to the mobile version of the site so on a mobile device it is easy to close items.
On a mobile device, my primary use is to actually DO things on the list, so after I do them, I want to easily check them off.

bugfix: 1 click on ALREADY SELECTED item should start edit mode
that way it would be like it is standard in Windows. CUrrently it's really counter-intuitive.

Plain text export should include numbers
If I have "Show as a numbered list" turned on, and then I export to plain text, the export should include the numbers.

Export and link a task or task hierarchy to a Youtrack / Jira issue
When in a design meeting, freeform editing like in Checkvist is very useful, but it's a lot of work to copy and paste Checkvist text into the issue tracker. Exporting directly from Checkvist would be awesome. The "highest level" task should be the issue title and the child tasks should be added to the issue description.
Exported tasks should be clearly marked and link to the corresponding Jira / Youtrack issue.

Add Basecamp integration
It would be really great to offer Basecamp integration. I work for several clients who use Basecamp as their project management tool. Although I like Basecamp, it's overkill for me to use it so I use Checkvist (and because of the awesome keyboard shortcuts).
The problem is; I still have to log in to each respective Basecamp to see my todo items there. I would like to have automatic synchronization with these Basecamps so I can see my Basecamp todo items in my Checkvist lists.
Basecamp has an API available (http://developer.37signals.com/basecamp/time-tracking.shtml) so it shouldn't be too hard. If…

Export to Confluence seems incorrect (?)
Hi - Happy to see you do export to Confluence, but I get this output:
h1. H1 Quick Test
h3. H2 here?- H3 here please? ** H4 as it were
h3. H2 the 2nd
When I'd expect to see this: ?
h1. H1 Quick Test
h2. H2 here?h3. H3 here please?
h4. H4 as it wereh2. H2 the 2nd
Much prefer to carry structured headings (h1., h2., h3. etc.) rather than the nested bullets (, *, ***).
MANY MANY THANKS.

CheckVist on WebOS Palm Pre
CheckVist works on my WebOS Palm Pre pretty well. But might be hidden features that I miss: 1- Can I collapse individual parent tasks? 2- I have 76 Bonsai Outlines to import. Can I sort them? 3- Can I search for tasks in them? 4- If I export and download the 76 lists can I view them off-line?

Create a macro language to automate keystrokes.
Create a macro language that could automate a set of keystrokes "on open" or at other times. (For example, an "on open" macro could cause the Checkvist to always start out collapsed.)

Make a vertical pane for comments, plus let anonymous guests add comments.
This would turn Checkvist into an instant, killer CMS. Editors could establish the logic and main content of a knowledge base while visitors could instantly add their two-cents. I've looked everywhere online, and there is no such solution ready-to-go. People who like two-pane outliners would also like this.

Drag and Drop into Calendar view
It would be great to have a calendar view of the current week (or day, or month) next to the checklist (where the keyboard hints are currently displayed) and being able to drag and drop tasks into the calendar.
This calendar view would be awesome to schedule your day and week based on your priority, and have a quick view on what needs to be done today.
If you couple that with Google Calendar integration and a full iphone app, you've got yourself the dreamiest organizational tool of all times!12 votes -
Create a shortcut for logging out of the site
Would it be a good (and possible) idea to create a 'hard-to-mistakenly-type' keyboard shortcut to allow users to log out of the site without going near the mouse?
