  1. Hi.

I just deleted notes on a task by accident and I cannot restore them with Ctrl+z or rd. Is there another way?

    Thanks

  2. Port Checkvist Web Clipper to Safari.

The new Safari support web extensions and you should be able to reuse most of the code: https://developer.apple.com/documentation/safariservices/safari_web_extensions

Checkvist Web Clipper is something I use every day and over the last year, I've been using Chrome less and less and moving towards Safari.

  3. I would like to have a site specific profile image/avatar, not something generic across the internet.

This article, from a WordPress perspective but generally applicable, discusses why local avatars are better for a variety of reasons: https://wptavern.com/local-avatars-in-wordpress-yes-please

  4. Is it possible to add a feature to use an offset for the natural language due dates? Chaining multiple offsets together would allow it to be as general as possible.

For example, I could create a project template that I import:
"Planning Meeting ^today+3d" [in 3 days]
"Email planning meeting minutes ^today+3d+1w" [1 week from 3 days from now]
"Task ^Next Friday+2w" [Two weeks from next Friday]
"Task ^Today-3d+1y" [A year from 3 days ago]

  5. In complex lists I often want to put an item in two places, but keep track of where both are. My suggestion is a command similar to ^d - duplicating a record, but with a marker in each of them referring to the other - maybe a little symbol linked to the other record? Or an automatically-generated unique tag applied to both?

(The tag approach might make it easier to generate and keep track of more than two duplicates, I suppose)

  6. Now I have to select text in an item, copy, navigate to another list, create a new item and paste the text. "mm" on the desktop is such a timesaver and I'd love an equivalent on the mobile version.

  8. It would be great, if there is a possibility to drag n drop emails from outlook to a task, and best it would be saved as *.msg – file as anattachment. (maybe like in Microsoft to-do)

  9. I can start numbering all subitems by prefixing the leading item with [1].
What prefix can I use to stop numbering further indented subitems?
I only what the first level subitems to be numbered, and not the second level ones.

  10. When pasting a URL into the search box, entries with Markdown links with that URL as destination should be highlighted. Right now, the search engine only searches through visible text.

  12. I want to have musical keys as tags and would need # in the tag for the sharp symbol.

    For example, tag F#

for a split second, writing #F# shows up correctly as a tag, but is then converted back to text.

Would this work with escape characters?
So, to create a F# tag, I could write
#F\# or #F\\# (I even had to use a \ at the beginning of this line so it doesn't make this line into a large heading

    Thank you

This wouldn't be needed if the page would auto sync

  15. I tend to use one list as an Inbox and for non-project tasks. Any chance of allowing us to set one list as a "favorite" or "home" list to use a keyboard shortcut to always go to that list? Sort of like using [gh] or [hh] to return to the Lists homepage.

  17. It should be an easy change to make the task creation date visible in the UI.
Having it in the Task actions (aa) popover would be fine.

The creation date of a task is not important in 97% of the time but in the 3% it becomes super helpful.

  18. I have several different lists open in my browser at once. It would be great to be able to distinguish between these by icon with different colored icons.

So you would assign your list a color, and it would get this icon in the browser tab / bookmark favicon.

Amazing? Not as amazing as checkvist

  19. Checkvist would be awesome with spaced repetition evidence-based learning technique. Flashcards is great, until you create a large number of cards. Checkvist could solve that, with the structured organization it already have. With spaced repetition Checkvist will emerge as the only project of its kind.

  20. Hello

This request is something where I really think it could help get the focus back on the tasks without being "cluttered" by the notes. (Of course only if you use notes extensively.)
If you have an outline with many tasks and those tasks contain many notes (detail information about the task, links to relevant resources and so on) and all those tasks and notes are expanded, than it is hard to distinguish the task from the notes.

I think one solution would be to show the notes for a selected task in an area e.g. on the right side…
