  1. While not select(entered) and editing on an item, it would be nice to be able to control movement of items VIM style.
    e.g. h/j/k/l=(left/down/up/right)
    Also, the ability to go down a certain number of rows.
    e.g. 3j = (go down three)

    Also, allow ctrl+alt+, and ctrl+alt+. to be used by just pressing , and .
    if not in the edit mode.

  4. Allow users to create custom fields/attributes they require for their tasks. Some users might like to assign each task with a Start Date and End Date, but someone would only prefer to have a Progress or Category attribute for each task.

  6. (It's the Q that irritates me!) May be once day checkvist kill stupid supermemo.com? :) (especially www.supermemo.net.pl)

    Once I can create some issue for memorizing and checkvist will lead me? It will shows me the issue in special day, listen my answer and decide (from special secret formula) when it will show me the issue in next time... It's again about calendar repeat tasks, but a bit deeper.

  8. I'd love to be able to have three or more lists open, see them all as tabs, and switch back and forth with a single click . . . just like a modern browser.

    And I'd really love to be able to save a configuration of which set of lists open upon startup . . . just like a modern browser.

    ActionOutline has tabbed lists, but not the "homepage" configuration feature. For me, it's your closest rival.

  9. 1) If a level 1 item has no children, it cannot drag/drop -- it should do so....
    2) When holding a dragged item over a collapsed item for a couple of beats without moving, the underlying level expands, assuming you want the tree to open to the next level to see where you might want to drop the item at a deeper level--and so on, to the last level of any subtree. That is, pause, open, drag, pause, open, etc.--until you drop it at whatever level you choose.

  10. Allow me to set the styling for an outline. Looks like there are fairly limited elements -- three fonts, line spacing at perhaps three levels, and indent spacing(s). Might also allow the expand/contract symbol to vary.

    I consider this quite important, as I'd like styling to squeeze more on a page, with tighter spacing and smaller fonts. Web 2.0 sort of styling is nice for presentation, but not so practical for working documents.

    By the moment, you can modify Checkvist presentation in the PRO plan. You can alter some colors, and provide advanced custom CSS styles which allow to change the font size. But this requires hard CSS coding. We need to provide simple way to specify different styles for a list.

    The sample CSS for reducing font size in the list is:
    ul.topLevel li { font-size: 12px;}
    ul.topLevel ul li, ul.topLevel ul li.task { font-size: 10px;}

    Some more customisation samples can be seen in this list: https://checkvist.com/checklists/486715

  16. To make sure that we don't accidentally destroy our precious notes or that those we share with sabotage them, support a revision history per note as Google Docs does.

    Really good and useful request.

    Regarding accidental data loss: Checkvist Pro account gives you up to 10 daily backups of all your lists. Not the same, but may help in some cases.

  18. I like to have the ability to review any items that have been added or edited recently. If I export the list this is easy to do for everything except the notes. Please add the date stamp to the notes as well.

  19. Hi all,

    i suggest a team hierarchy with areas of responsibilities, each task will be marked with area of responsibility (marketing, sales, support, ...), so that it's clear which person is responsible for the whole area (not just a specific task)
