pin a task to top of a list or top of sublist it is in so it stays at the top
When you have a task that you want to stay at the top of the list or sublist it is in, you could pin it or tack it to the top so no matter how you sorted the list it would stay at the top of that list or sublist.

RTL support
Support Hebrew/Arabic. This means the list is aligned to the right and bullets are on the right of the text. I think this can easily be done with the 'dir' attribute of <div>

Expanded list of natural language options for entering dates
I love that we can enter due dates inline on a new task, just using the ^ character. I was wondering if we could add a few more natural language options. For example:
^in 8 days or ^8 days or ^8d
^in 8 weeks or ^8 weeks or ^8w
^in 8 months or ^8 months or ^8mThat kinda thing.
Hard to implement?

Let 'mm' move items to a new list from the Due screen
This would be very useful and is line with making as many keyboard shortcuts as possible work on the Due screen.
For my case, I have an active to do list that I work from on a daily basis, and then separate lists for specific projects and one for general reminders (so they don't clog up my daily list). Every morning, I check the due dates and move anything current over the daily list.
Right now, I have to re-type or copy/paste to move these items but if 'mm' worked, I could just do that.
Thanks.

Wrap outline for wide windows
White it sounds a bit weird, it would be really helpful if checkvlist would support wrapping columns over to the right for wide windows (which is actually the norm these days with 16x9 laptops and monitors).
I'm think of basically how MS Word wraps columns and similar to how PDF viewers and ebook readers will go to side-by-side page views when they have the width.
In theory CSS columns would make this a pretty easy change. It could be made an option also.
This would allow the user to see more of their items on a single page. Which is…

Backup only active lists
In the backup section, I would like to export only my active lists, not the archive. Is that possible?

Add "Due" tasks list in LL pop-up
The LL pop-up window is great to jump between lists, but there is one list that I use all the time that isn't shown in the pop-up, the "Due" tasks list. I would love to be able to simply type LLDUE{Enter} and have it jump straight to the Due tasks list: http://checkvist.com/checklists#due

search and replace
I have an issue with > in OPML, as a previous question. Then I found checkvist cound use search and replace, as any simple text editor can, hitting crtl+F.

Sharing too much information what I assign a task
Lets say I have a personal list, which I want to keep for my eyes only. IF I want to assign a single task in that list to somebody else, it seems that the entire list is then made available to the assignee.
IS there a way to let the assignee ONLY see the single task but not the rest of the list?
Thanks, Dave

Add option to assign tasks to creators by default
I'd be nice if all tasks created by me are automatically assigned to me. Because most of the time, that's true. I hate having the extra step to make assignments.

mm put it as last item
Now, when I move a line with 'mm' it moves to the top of that list. I want to move it to the bottom of the list.

Clones
I know checkvist supports tags, but clones would take it to another level.

undo failed after emptying a parent item
I had a subtree of tasks, and I set the parent item to empty string. (I meant to outdent the next item, but I didn't do that first.) Setting the parent to empty string was interpreted as "delete this whole tree", which I didn't want. I clicked undo at the top; the overlay changed to 'undoing'; and then nothing happened for a while. I reloaded the page, and the tree is still gone. First time I've lost data on checkvist :(
1 voteHello, really sorry for the problem, could you please let me know the ID of the list where you’ve lost data – may be I’ll be able to restore it?

sort
After sorting by alphabet, priority and due dates, my original order of listing disappeared. Is there a way to get back my original order?

Make a Permalink for filtered due list
Everything else has a permalink, but this page is the one that I would like as my home page: the due list, filtered by my name
6 votesThanks for the suggestion! It is quite reasonable, we’ll try to squeeze this into one of the next updates.

Hide specific lines for printing
Option to hide a specific line from printing (for instance, by clicking on a line, it will show as italics, which indicates that the line won’t print). This is very useful for printing out punch-lists for our crews. Hiding the few lines we don’t want to show for clarity.

Multiselect, merge and split successive tasks
Merge and Multiselect Problem:
Task x is Call Mike,
Task y is Call John and
Task z is Call Cathy. What you want to do is merge these tasks. The way to do this should be to multi-select task x, y and z and press "mm" (for example) and tasks x, y and z are merged into one task ("Call Mike Call John Call Cathy")
Split Problem:
Task x is "Call Mike Call John Call Cathy." You want to break task x into three separate tasks. They way to do this should be to go to the end of "Call…40 votes
