  1. Default selection of text content is convenient. However, there are some situations where is does not work I expect.

    1. If the content starts with a link [...], default selection (= after pressing EE) misses the opening bracket.

    2. Default selection of a note does not select its content as it does for tasks.

    3. Pressing Strg+K without a selection should select the word if the cursor is placed inside the word (or at the word's boundary).

  2. Users would be amazed if you support emojis as Github does e.g. in their commits (see http://www.emoji-cheat-sheet.com). The ability to express emotions in a checkvist line makes editing tons more fun.

  5. I'm used to tag almost every list with a date in this form #d-2015-11-19, ect

It would be very useful to search for a partial tag like #d-2015-11 that returns all the lists created in November 2015.

Is it already possible? Am I missing something?

  6. Rather than have items run down the page
    [ ] Item 1
    [ ] Item 2
    [ ] Item 3
    [ ] Item 4

I would like the ability to flag items so that they go across the page. This would save much screen space and be more compact.
    [ ] Item 1 [ ] Item 2 [ ] Item 3 [ ] Item 4

  10. The idea is to have a setting like: make a page break before every level 1 (or level 2, 3,… and so on) item.

This would ease situations like a LEVEL 1 'headline' beeing printed on the bottom of a page but the content is shifted to the next page.

  11. Add a sidebar for filtering by Tags and Due Dates within the current list. It could look something like this:

    /=== Tags / Due Dates ==============
    |
    | Tags on this page:
    | [ ] #red x7
    | [ ] #yellow x3
    | [ ] #blue x1
    | [ ] #orange x4
    |
    | Due Date: [Dropdown Menu]
    | Completed Tasks: [Dropdown Menu]
    |
    ===================================

Initially, nothing would be selected and all tasks would be shown as usual. For each tag, you can select either a checkmark or an X. If you have checked one or more tags, then only…

  12. I keep my Checkvist outline in one tab and my Due items in another tab, open at all times. When I add a new due item to my outline I need to refresh the tab with my due items list. Having it dynamically update would be great!

  13. When you have a task that you want to stay at the top of the list or sublist it is in, you could pin it or tack it to the top so no matter how you sorted the list it would stay at the top of that list or sublist.

  14. Would it be possible to include the full hierarchy of a task in the calendar feed? If the task in the calendar is a sub task the context is lost and I then need to open up the Checkvist website to understand what the task means. All this detail does not need to be in the calendar entry title - it could be in the notes. For example, I might have a list called Clients, then I might have a list of names under this, then under each name, a list of things that need to be done. If one…

  17. Currently I'm only allowed to assign tasks to users I've shared with. I"d like to be able to assign tasks to anyone. Currently I have to use tags then convert to assignments when/if i share the list.

  18. This would be very useful and is line with making as many keyboard shortcuts as possible work on the Due screen.

For my case, I have an active to do list that I work from on a daily basis, and then separate lists for specific projects and one for general reminders (so they don't clog up my daily list). Every morning, I check the due dates and move anything current over the daily list.

Right now, I have to re-type or copy/paste to move these items but if 'mm' worked, I could just do that.

    Thanks.

  19. In Windows explorer when you are in a folder you can jump to a file simply by typing it's first letters. It would be nice if we could do this in our lists for main branches.
    Suggestion:
Hit the semicolon key ";;" twice to call for this function (It can select the first item by default) then start typing.
Why double ";" key? because it won't interfere with any other keyboard shortcut and it's the default place for little finger.
    Thank you
