Window should scroll when moving tasks using the keyboard
When moving tasks using ctrl+arrow keys, if the task is moved off the bottom of the screen the screen doesn't scroll to follow it.

Easy Copying a List between Checklists
Please implement easy copying a list between checklists, for example Control+c and Control+v. It can be done current export and import function but this is a little complicate.
2 votesIn fact, ctrl-c/ctrl-v (and even with ctrl-x) must work in checkvist. Even between the lists. The only missing thing is multiple selection for this operation – we have a separate request for this on uservoice.
BTW, you can undo the paste operation. -
Sidebar in FireFox
I would like to have a sidebar/simple version of Checkvist open while I work using my computer. This would resemble the sidebar available directly/indirectly for Remember The Milk or Todoist.
5 votesJust has been re-implemented as an add-on https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/checkvist_firefox/
See View→Sidebar menu.

Email in tasks
Ability to email in items like with Nozbe, Remember The Milk etc; I would like to be able to 'phone in' tasks using Dial2Do (similar to Jott).

Add an export format which includes timestamps
I'd like to use some of the data from my checklist in scripts etc, but I need the creation time of notes or tasks. None of the available export formats allow this.
I realise this will probably be do-able eventually with the API, but it should be a fairly simple thing to implement straight away (perhaps as an additional option to the text export format).

Date Stamp closed checklist item
It would be useful if a date stamp was added when a checklist item is closed, as is done with notes.
It's actually rather useful to know when a thing was closed out and would be helpful if things were archived out into a text file.

Add Estimated hours for completion to track time
SIMPLE TIME MANAGEMENT.
* Each task / sub-task should have its own hours or minutes for completion.
* Total time could be allocated to the parent task and All the tasks could be tallied up to a total hours so that you can keep track of the big picture * Once a task has been marked completed its time is then subtracted.103 votes -

Printing
Hi, the export option provides a way to print a checklist, but currently the formatting doesn't match the onscreen view - it would be great to be able to print a page that matched the main view
2 votesYou can print a checklist directly. The print view should match the onscreen view without any exporting.

Let us know how often our work will be saved
It's difficult to find out how often the outlines will be saved and there seems to be no manual way to save your work (out of fear that changes will be lost)
2 votesWhen Checkvist has some unsaved data, there is a jumping ball in the left top corner – a kind of “work in progress” mark.

subprojects rather than just tasks
I like to use GTD style project titles and then group subprojects under these headers. At the moment if I do this with a task and complete my last current task it will complete my sub-project.
15 votesAs I understand, the major problem is that parent task disappears when last subtask is closed, and you have “hide completed” mode on.
I believe, this problem is solved now, please check the behaviour on the site.

Open the API
Firefox addon would be great, but it will be much better to get open API to create any other kind of offline clients (i.e. I'm just very interested in vim plugin for it and I'll create in case of open API existence).
