  2. I use colour highlighting to show priority. It would be great to be able to order tasks (within their hierarchy) by priority/colour. So far I've only used 1/2/3, but if something was TOP priority, I would use shift-1/2/3, so perhaps shift-1/2/3 should be sorted above normal 1/2/3.

  3. Checkvist is down. Some notifications can be sent to Users of Checkvist - confirming how long it may take to come back - what is the problem etc. Currently the site is down and everyone is in dark thinking will this ever come back etc.

  4. I know you can "check things off" by hitting the spacebar. And that is good. But I am a point and clicker, and also very visual and would love this as well.

  5. In the current e-mail that we get as a notification of changes, the optional comment is easily lost.

Please make it stand out either with a Bold font or larger font, or background, or whatever.

  7. For each new checklist I want to share I have to add 5 mail-addresses (5 colleagues)
Can I use somewhere a "distribution list" or do copy of a template list with the shared persons also copied ?

  8. The friends I invite to checkvist always have problems accepting my invitation.

They click on the invitation link.
They expect to come to the signup page (or straight to the list)
Instead, they come to the login screen and try to "register" there (or ask me for the password).

Please make sure invited people come to the signup screen and after that directly to the shared list.

  9. I'd like to revitalize a declined suggestion:

Put a hollow triangle to the left of a task with no subtasks.

That way, the left sides of all tasks at the same level line up perfectly, and you get a much tidier outline. The eye sees the nesting structure more easily.

It's not a decorative feature; absolutely not:
-If you have (sub)tasks on the list with all having subtasks: it's looking tidy (all tasks have solid triangles), you can easily distinguish vetween the (sub)tasks.
-But in the case of mixed (sub)tasks (both having and not having subtasks): the tasks at the…

  10. i can't move the task http://checkvist.com/checklists/9446/tasks/428260. the red dot in the upper left corner starts popping, but, apparently, the changes never get saved on the server.

  11. Some URLs get automagically turned into hyperlinks in the notes, but this is not always done correctly.

For example, the following URL, when saved as part of a note, will only get hyperlinked up to the first ~ character:
    http://feedproxy.google.com/~r/SerialSeb/~3/5U4o5oX_1bE/when-agile-goes-bad-slides-and-pointers.html

URLs in task names should also be automatically turned into hyperlinks.

  12. Repeating is something I can not live without.
    It helps me a lot.
For example,I need to replace my tooth brush every 3 months.

  13. We use checkvist with multiple levels of hierarchy however when the notification is sent out, the position of a new task in the hierarchy is not shown which means that it is quite often difficult to understand a tasks context. Would it be possible to show the hierarchy (kind of like a breadcrumb) from the task upwards to the top level?

  14. When I create a task, I click enter to finalize it. This is all good, except the natural function is to start a new task below it. Is there any way to stop this from happening. It seems a little unnatural. I have to click Enter, then "ESC" or click out of the task to get it to go away.

I would propose you click enter to add the current task, and then you would have to click enter AGAIN to start a new task.

    Thoughts?

  15. I suggest change the color keyboard shortcuts because to access the one in a French laptop, shift is mandatory. So I have to type shift 1 to type 1, and so there is no distinction between background colors and font color features.

Indeed, font color feature is not accessible, except by activating the laptop numerical pad.

  18. Would be great to be able to link from one node to another (in the same or an external list)

For example, say you have a list of Events (with several event details in the list), and a list of People (with their many details in there)

For each event, you can then independently link straight to the Person, instead of copying the entire person under each event they will attend. That way, for each event, you won't have to replicate people (and their entire tree of details) if someone chooses to attend more than one event.

  19. often we'll move down a list, bulk-checking off tasks. it'd be great to remove all the tasks we're done with with one keystroke, instead of having to go back and delete them all. i also agree it'd help with organization if a completed task was automatically moved to the very top or bottom of the checklist, so we can see all of them together, instead of interspersed throughout.
