have keyboard shortcut to clear all completed task
often we'll move down a list, bulk-checking off tasks. it'd be great to remove all the tasks we're done with with one keystroke, instead of having to go back and delete them all. i also agree it'd help with organization if a completed task was automatically moved to the very top or bottom of the checklist, so we can see all of them together, instead of interspersed throughout.
The keyboard shortcut for the command is ‘wipe’

You can use "copy" list feature to create a clone of the current list.

Cool! I'm guessing it's difficult to archive instead of wipe (delete). I can imagine the logistics behind that might be tricky.
I guess I can now do a wipe but also save the old list as an HTML file or something for reference for the done (and now deleted) tasks.
Great stuff!

awesome! what's the keyboard shortcut for it? Looked around but missed it.
would be amazing to have an "archive all completed" that tossed em in a "ghost" list of the main list. Always feel like it's a shame to delete completed tasks - seeing all those crossed out tasks is great motivation and a great way to feel good at the end of a day... e.g.
in: closed changed:-7days
and you could have that nice big list but *without* the closed (done) tasks showing in the new list.
My lists get so huge with completed tasks that they're unmanageable. Currently I'm usually putting all the completed ones as children in a category and then moving the whole category, which I usually name "completed", to a "completed" master list.

I completely agree with Giny: "I would like to see what tasks I finished today (during the day continuously), and at the end of the day (next day morning) I would like to delete all completed tasks.".
Then it would be useful to delete the daily activities with one keystroke: deleted activies colud be saved in a specific list called "deleted tasks" (that is possible to see).
Thanks. -
Giny, thanks for your comment.
Right now, we have a rather hidden 'reset' keyboard shortcut, which reopens all the completed tasks.
What shortcut would you suggest for such task clearing? Something like 'clear'? 'cleanup'?

Hiding and deleting is not the same. I would like to have "delete all completed" option too. If I just hide them, it means that the "show completed" option is degradeted to a trash can feature. I would like to see what tasks I finished today (during the day continuously), and at the end of the day (next day morning) I want to delete all completed tasks.

Good idea. Could you probably use "Hide completed tasks" feature, available via view options?
