Communication Board
If several people, or a family, is sharing a common checklist, a communication board within the check list would be helpful. Thinking of something else beside the notes.

Improve drag-n-drop
1) If a level 1 item has no children, it cannot drag/drop -- it should do so....
2) When holding a dragged item over a collapsed item for a couple of beats without moving, the underlying level expands, assuming you want the tree to open to the next level to see where you might want to drop the item at a deeper level--and so on, to the last level of any subtree. That is, pause, open, drag, pause, open, etc.--until you drop it at whatever level you choose.1 vote -

Checkvist can help for learning something
(It's the Q that irritates me!) May be once day checkvist kill stupid supermemo.com? :) (especially www.supermemo.net.pl)
Once I can create some issue for memorizing and checkvist will lead me? It will shows me the issue in special day, listen my answer and decide (from special secret formula) when it will show me the issue in next time... It's again about calendar repeat tasks, but a bit deeper.

A single command to promote all subtasks one level.
Useful when reorganizing or copying lists.

allow for duplicated task to be marked as completed at the same time.
Sometimes different projects require the same task. Both "reading a book about history" and "returning library loans before due date" could require the subtask "go to the library". It would be good if the task was marked as completed under both topics at the same time when marking one of them as completed.

Create a shortcut for logging out of the site
Would it be a good (and possible) idea to create a 'hard-to-mistakenly-type' keyboard shortcut to allow users to log out of the site without going near the mouse?

Make a vertical pane for comments, plus let anonymous guests add comments.
This would turn Checkvist into an instant, killer CMS. Editors could establish the logic and main content of a knowledge base while visitors could instantly add their two-cents. I've looked everywhere online, and there is no such solution ready-to-go. People who like two-pane outliners would also like this.

CheckVist on WebOS Palm Pre
CheckVist works on my WebOS Palm Pre pretty well. But might be hidden features that I miss: 1- Can I collapse individual parent tasks? 2- I have 76 Bonsai Outlines to import. Can I sort them? 3- Can I search for tasks in them? 4- If I export and download the 76 lists can I view them off-line?

Non-action items
I'm "invalidating" some items so I can use them as notes or non-actionable information. However, they'll get hidden when I hide completed tasks, and pushed to the bottom if I ask for completed tasks to be moved down.
Is there any chance we could mark items as "non-actionable", which would mean they don't affect the %complete, and aren't affected by sorting based on complete/non-complete?
Thanks!
