I'd love to be able to have three or more lists open, see them all as tabs, and switch back and forth with a single click . . . just like a modern browser.
And I'd *really* love to be able to save a configuration of which set of lists open upon startup . . . just like a modern browser.
ActionOutline has tabbed lists, but not the "homepage" configuration feature. For me, it's your closest rival.

Panes would work better, I think, because it suits other use cases, like dragging items between lists. If all the lists were open in panes it would be possible to more easily build on top of that idea and arrive at some way of switching focus (like tabs, for example) and hiding the others. It would just be an additional setting.

I can sort of see this, but what do you gain from having complexity in Checkvist that you don't get by just opening the lists in different tabs in your browser?
+1 from me on all of that, including the ActionOutline thing.
Thanks for the idea and for ActionOutline reference.
