Pressing Enter on an expanded item should add a new child
I think it would be better if pressing Enter on an item that has children and is expanded added a child right below this item. If an item is collapsed or has no children - then add an item below at the same level, like it works now.
Right now the behaviour of Enter key is kind of nonlocal, in that it could suddenly take me a couple of screens down and make me lose my place.
We tried this approach for some time on beta.checkvist.com, but it looks like it adds more confusion than benefit.

Somehow I missed the Shift-Enter shortcut, thanks for the tip =).
I checked how Paste works, and yes - that's exactly what I want Enter to do as well.

Thanks for the suggestion,
To add a child you can use Shift+Enter keyboard shortcut, so you can always use it. But, you're may be right that Enter on big expanded node should add a sibling.
This is how Paste operation works now, so we'll think about changing behaviour here. Thanks,
