remember formatting settings of the same indent level
When formatting a task (bold, colors, etc), all the following tasks in the list to have by default the same formatting.
Ofcourse it could be set as an optional feature, some may not want it, but for me it would save a lot of time to keep the lists nicely organized.

If you don't mind, please send me the ID of the list so I could take a look what's going on there and what could be the reason of the problem.
Thanks,

just checked, the <b> tags were closed, it must be smth else.
Yes indeed , it's easier using the **_** than <b>_<b> . But still one has to remember it every time and keep track of the indent level to format, while the proposition was checkvist to do it for me after learning form my formatting the first time on that indent level.
Thanks for your answers

I suppose you didn't close <b> tag in the parent list item.
By the way, Checkvist supports Markdown formatting, if you're interested - you can enable it on Profile->Settings page.

Why do you find it odd?
A list can be a project, the main (first level) tasks are milestones or main task groups, that I want to highlight to se easily when my list is expanded. I format the first one the way I want and checkvist will keep that formatting for all the rest of the milestones I'll add. The same can go with other levels of indentation. And btw, as I am testing checkvist something weird happened with one of my lists. only the first level tasks are editable, all subtasks are not. I tried to export and re-import them in a new tasks, but nothing changes. Is it a bug or a feature I missed? As a not I marked wit bold <b>... <b> the main tasks in the list. All the subtasks became bold and are not editable.

Hello,
Why would you need such a possibility?
This is really odd request, probably you're trying to achieve something I cannot get so far. What is the use case?
