Visual Emphasis
I was wondering if the triangles next to items with sub-items could be made grey (or perhaps hollow, as someone else has suggested), or eliminated...to lessen their visual impact.
I hope you will consider somehow eliminating, or somehow creating a visual balance between items with and without sub-items.
The little black triangles have the visual effect of bullet points, putting significant visual emphasis on those items. Meanwhile, items at an equal level of hierarchy are somewhat muted if they don't have any sub-items.
I really hope this is making sense to the developers. When you have a bunch of sentence fragments or phrases lined up vertically, but some have the triangles and some do not, the eye is really just drawn to those with the triangles, and even sub-items with the triangles.
I just came across your product today after having looked for a task/list manager for months... I have read at least 15 to 20 reviews of different list organizers and I am very impressed with Checkvist. I have begun to move all my work projects into Checkvist. Huge kudos to you all - this is an awesome, awesome piece of work as it is. I definitely do not mean to criticize only.
Thanks!
Thanks for the suggestion.
We think it looks much better now :)
