Print page for Due items
Would be very nice to have a nicely formatted printable page for Due items the same way you do for a regular checklist. That is, click on Print and see a better formatted page that can be printed out than can currently be done in the native browser window.

Parent tasks remain visible
Have an option to keep parents tasks visible even when all of the children are completed. This allows additional sub-tasks to be added later before parent is completed.

Change notes design to take up less space
The notes section seems to be the only area that's a little neglected in the UI design.
I think there's too much padding going on, and that user/date information consumes too much space.

Keep Checkvist just the way it is
I love Checkvist. I love the simplicity of it in that it does a few things well and maintains a beautifully minimalist interface. Any new major features should be opt-in or hidden away for those who want them.

recognise all http:// urls, not just those with a . in the host portion (http://machine/url)
http://machine/url/path/blah doesn't get turned into a link on a task, but http://machine.full.qual.domain/url/path/blah does. I think they should both be links.

"Save as new copy"
I want to copy a list as a new list. That way I could 1. have templates that I can reuse and 2. edit checkvists which are shared but without sharing it. (I would later share my new version)
3 votesPlease check “copy” command in the Checkvist toolbar. It does what you need, I believe.

scroll the window when entering new tasks at the bottom of the window
When I press enter under a task to enter a new task, and I'm near the bottom of the window, the new task text entry box opens up off the bottom of the screen. This is unfriendly :)
(using chromium 6.0.xx)

On Due Tasks list, when updating due date, do NOT move to new list position or re-expand tree.
I like the new features of the Due Tasks list. However, when a due date is changed, the view moves to the NEW position of that task. I would like the view to remain with the old position, with that task now "gone" (because it now appears elsewhere on the list.)
Also, if I have collapsed parts of the Due Tasks "list", those parts should remain collapsed even after the due date is changed. Currently, after updating the due date of a task, the list re-expands so that all tasks are visible. This is far too much jumping around in…3 votesBad bug, we’ve overlooked it. Should be fixed now – the collapse/expand state should be preserved

Allow changing task color from the Due Tasks view.
Allow using the 1/2/3 and shirt-1/shift-2/shift-3 keystrokes to change the color of a task from within the Due Tasks view. Since task color is the current method for handling priority, the ability to change color from within the Due Tasks view would be a big help in managing work. (Next would be a filter by color for the Due Tasks - I will add this as a separate idea.)

add Filter-by-color to Due Tasks view.
Since task color is often used for priority, it would be helpful to be able to focus on JUST the highest-priority tasks on the Due Tasks list, by filtering to display just those "Red (or whatever)" tasks. Best would be to allow us to choose what to display. (Red? Blue? Green Background? etc.)

Put tags in li.task HTML to give greater control over CSS
If you put tags in the class attribute of the task node then we can have control to style task labels based on their tags. For example a task tagged with 'important' could have <li class="task important"> so I could style the task red. I could do this with the manual colouring but that's limited and not automatic so I forget. Just popping the tags in the style attr mean I could put li.task.important {color:red} in the custom CSS block in my profile and have it done automatically.
3 votesdone, please check it out. Due-based tags were added as well

bug: for certain strings B, typing ABC in a note and saving leads to only B saved
- Add a new note to a task.
- Type the following: PREFIX "script '/ololo' not found" SUFFIX
- Save. Observe: note contains only the second line (about the script). Works for any PREFIX and SUFFIX.

expand notes edit box
When I go to edit a note, the edit box is very small. Can it be made larger, or opened in a separate window that can be resized? Thank you

Immediate tag autocomplete
When you add a tag (command tt) and beginning to type the autocomplete suggestion takes few seconds to appear.
It should appear immediately (as in most tools that has an autocomplete feature).
