Jumpy Screen
This "feature" is super annoying and very frequent.
I edit a list item. I'm done with it but don't press enter. I scroll to another item such that the first one is off the screen. I click on the second item because that's the one I now want to interact with. The screen jumps back to the first item. I'll repeat: the screen jumps back to the first item. It jumps from the item I want to edit to the one I'm done with. It is incredibly jarring and distracting. Now I have to scroll around looking for the second…

Let us know how often our work will be saved
It's difficult to find out how often the outlines will be saved and there seems to be no manual way to save your work (out of fear that changes will be lost)
2 votesWhen Checkvist has some unsaved data, there is a jumping ball in the left top corner – a kind of “work in progress” mark.

Printing
Hi, the export option provides a way to print a checklist, but currently the formatting doesn't match the onscreen view - it would be great to be able to print a page that matched the main view
2 votesYou can print a checklist directly. The print view should match the onscreen view without any exporting.

Easy Copying a List between Checklists
Please implement easy copying a list between checklists, for example Control+c and Control+v. It can be done current export and import function but this is a little complicate.
2 votesIn fact, ctrl-c/ctrl-v (and even with ctrl-x) must work in checkvist. Even between the lists. The only missing thing is multiple selection for this operation – we have a separate request for this on uservoice.
BTW, you can undo the paste operation. -
Completing a task should automatically complete subtasks
Right now I have to complete each of the subtasks in order to complete a task, but I should be able to do it the other way, too.

save entered text which clicking off of a text field
When entering text, I often forget to actually press enter (which would save the entry) and instead click on my next thought when I have completed typing out an item.
This leads to my entered text being erased.
You could either save the text automatically, or do something where that text field remains open you somehow grab my attention towards my two options, either discard or save.
Cheers,
-Will

Ability to highlight an item
I think it would be handy to be able to highlight an item (pale-yellow "highlighter" style). It could be a simple on-off toggle with the "h" key.
I tend to have very long checklists with a ton of things I'm working on at the same time... it would be great to be able to highlight the one thing I'm supposed to be working on. Obviously each user can assign their own personal meaning to highlighted items.
2 votesConsidering we have three font colors and three background colors now, I think we can mark this task as “completed”? Please, let us know if those colors are not enough!

Support hiding collapsed sections in print version
When printing a checklist with collapsed sections, it would be nice to be able to make the sections collapsed in the printed version, too. I'm not sure how this should be implemented, as both printing options are probably useful
2 votesBy the moment, print version inherits the collapse/expand state from the main page.

open for paypal donations
Checkvist is starting to become a real cool tool. Why don't you make it possible for us to show our appreciation and donate a small amount to support the development?

Optimize memory usage
Checkvist tends to increase its memory consumption when you work with large lists in IE for a certain time. Closing IE and reopening the list solves the problem.

Printing font & background colors
It looks like the printing works, but the newly added font and background colors do not print. Is there any way to include these colors when printing? I tried printing a checklist directly and the print view did not show any of the colors.

Change the color keyboard shortcuts because to access the one in a French laptop, shift is mandatory
I suggest change the color keyboard shortcuts because to access the one in a French laptop, shift is mandatory. So I have to type shift 1 to type 1, and so there is no distinction between background colors and font color features.
Indeed, font color feature is not accessible, except by activating the laptop numerical pad.
2 votesNow we have shortcuts 1-2-3 for font colors and 4-5-6 for background colors, so this issue must be fixed.

Navigate to an extracted checklist using keyboard
Love the extract function (xx), but once a checklist has been extracted in this way, you have to click the link to go to it. Would be great if keyboard navigation was possible for this.
2 votesWe’ve introduced shortcut ‘g g’ which will “click” the first link in the task text. Thanks for the suggestion!
