Allow exporting a selected branch
The current export allows exporting only whole list, but sometimes it is useful to export a current list item with subitems

Undo tags changes (such as 'ct' clear tags!)
It would be useful to be able to undo tag changes. Sometimes I type 'ct' (clear tags) when I want to 'cf' (clear filter), and I lose the tags.
Thanks!

List performance is slow in Firefox when it has > 1500 items
The slow operations:
- adding items
- reordering items with tab/shift-tab3 votesShould work much faster now.

Code Block Formatting Issues
There are a few formatting issues when using preformatted text:
Linkification
If a URL is inside of a code block (i.e. wrapped with ` characters), it is linkified like other task text. However, the auto-generated link is also displayed in the code block.
For example, the following code block:
test http://checkvist.com
Will be displayed as:
test <a href="http://checkvist.com">http://checkvist.com`
Entity Conversion
Some entities are converted, but not displayed properly.
For example, the less-than character (<) is converted to "<" and the entity code is displayed in the code block rather than the actual symbol. The resulting entity code is also…

Smarter tagging
When I hit 'tt' to tag a certain task, then all of the existing tags are highlighted. Please remove this highlighting, becuase now I will hit 'tt' and enter an additional tag, and the all the old will be deleted. They're gone forever.

Provide Keyboard Shortcut for [Import tasks] button on Import dialog window
Can you provide a keyboard shortcut for invoking the [Import tasks] button on Import dialog window?
My suggestions would be to use ‘Ctrl+Enter’Problematic User Story
Currently, when I want to import a list of tasks I have to do the following:- Copy the list of tasks to the clipboard (Ctrl+C)
- Switch back to Checkvist (Alt+tab)
- Select the task I want to import the tasks under (arrow keys)
- Bring up the Import dialog window (IM)
- Paste in the list of tasks (Ctrl+V)
- Press the [Import tasks] button*

Shortcut for quick jumping to the item by typing its first characters
Maybe this is already implemented, but I didn't find this feature. For example, I have huge plain list. It's annoying to fiddle around it with Up and Down keys (OK, PgUp, PgDown, Home and End helps a lot, but navigating big list is still a time consumpting business). So how about some sort of quick jumping?

Full SSL/TLS security for all users
Your product looks very interesting... actually it is pretty much exactly what I have been looking for, but I will not use it unless the connection and all content is completely encrypted.
1 voteAll communication with Checkvist is now SSL/TLS only, for all users

Permit change of ownership.
Add to current free sharing roles of writer / reader, author. Permit someone to pass on ownership of a list by going to sharing and changing someone else's role to author. Restrict to those already shared with, and only the current author could make such a change.
3 votesI close this, as long as this feature is already implemented.

Add a shortcut key YD for putting the due date for Yesterday
I use Checkvist to keep a historically archived log of the tasks I have already completed, so I am often markings tasks off that I did yesterday to archive them away. Is there any way you could create a shortcut for YD that would add a due date for Yesterday?

Recognise more url schemes
I often use urls with "sftp", "ssh", "message" and "addressbook" schemes which aren't recognised by Checkvist, yet. It would be great if those would be turned into clickable links automatically and if I could enter them via the new lnk: shortcut.
Why does Checkvist check the url scheme at all? Imho it wouldn't hurt if strings like this would be turned into links:
sillyscheme://blablabla
Just checking for the general url scheme syntax would allow people to use any kind of urls – and there would be no need to adapt checkvist everytime a new scheme appears.

Hello Brennan,
Checkvist supports printing of lists, both with checkboxes or without ones. You can see what it looks like if you click the “printer” icon at the right part of the toolbar. If you have any problems/issues with the printing view of the Checkvist, please let us know. Thanks! -
Add existing users to a list
In the current state, if you want to add any users who are already viewing/sharing your lists, you have to either send them a link or an e-mail. If you choose e-mail and you're adding them to several lists, they get spamed by checkvist notifications. Would be nice to have an option to add existing users to a list so you don't have to get their authorization every time.

tags pop-up list to be sorted by frequency of use not alphabetically
imagine I have two tags: shop-cityX and shop-cityA but cityX is bigger so more shopping there and therefore I use the first tag more. But when I hit tt and start typing shop-cityA comes before cityX because this list is sorted alphabetically. Just like the way lists sorts (ll shortcut).
It would be much more convenient and smart if tags were sorted by frequency of use and also auto complete the most frequent hit when we start to type them so the user don't have to hit another couple of keystrokes to reach the desired tag in the pop-up suggestion…
3 votesNow tags in completion are sorted by usage (local or global), both when adding a task or searching.

Bug: If an item contains unclosed tag (like <b>), child list items become uneditable
Если я не закрываю тег, например <b>, в задаче, то дочерние задачи тоже выводятся жирным шрифтом и их нельзя редактировать и пометить законченными.

Bug: using due dates after midnight
On several occasions I have had problems when setting/changing tasks due date just after midnight.
e.g. on 4th September 00.04am I set a task due for today (writing the word today or selecting the day from the calendar) the word "overdue" appearsor again on the 4th September 00.04am I set a task due for the 5th, the word "today" appears
browser used: Chrome / Ubuntu
my timezone GMT1 voteWe’ve added a possibility to set timezone explicitly in Checkvist – should fix this issue.
