At the moment I have no votes for this feature but want to support it. It's not super important, but it annoys me from time to time, that I can't rearrange the notes.

@Kirill Maximov: I don't think using subtasks instead is a good solution because tasks are tasks and detail information to a task is something different.
For another request (shallow counter) you recommended NOT to use tasks for information purpose (this would confuse the counter).

    So to summarize:
Not my top priority request - but still something that would be useful.

This feature would be important especially for lists that you regularly sort e.g. by due-date but want some important information/tasks stay on top.

This could also be used as a workaround for another feature request. This way we could have an entry which contains links zu important other related lists (or favorites). And this Info would stay on top regardless of sorting of the list.

I think this request is quite clear - but for us visual guys I made a mockup:

I tested Zapier but unfortunately it is NO alternative to a Google Tasks integration.

First of all the free plan is very limited and the basic account very expensive.

But costs aside, there is no way to synchronize the tasks between those two apps! There are too many triggers missing (also on the Google Task side) -> you can only create new tasks/lists on both sides :-(

So please consider a full integration with Google Tasks including synchronisation of status and due dates. This way we could get an integration with the Android devices including widgets to work with the tasks.
