In Safari for ios you can add a home screen icon by opening the share menu and pressing 'Add to home screen'. This opens Checkvist without browser frames and really feels like a 'real' app. It doesn't add Siri integration, but personally I don't miss that, maybe because I don't have a car.

Has there been any progress on this? It would be really helpful on mobile to be able to just tap a date to get the calendar drop down, like on desktop. Maybe even a shortcut to the calendar (dd) in the context menu, so a date can be added with 3 taps.

I hope this is related enough to the topic.

Actually all this already works if you open the desktop version in a mobile browser. But obviously this version isn't optimized for touch. However, as it works there, it wouldn't be too hard to add to the mobile version would it? ;)

My situation is that I have a bunch of tasks scheduled to yesterday, that I didn't have time for. Now I want to move them all to today. That's very common for me, and in the service I used before I could just drag tasks to today list. Manually erasing 'overdue' and writing '^today' for each of them just doesn't make sense.

But a quick calendar summoned by one or two taps would be just as good as drag n drop. Especially combined with batch select on mobile – but that's another request.
