    You have left! (?) (thinking…)
How important is this to you?

    For example, I have entered:

    [link: Dates|file:///C:\Users\Owner\Documents\Google.html]

(a link to an html document)

and while the link is displayed, a click on it does nothing (two clicks edits the entry). I'd really like to link to Excel and Word docs, but even this doesn't work. Please suggest what I might enter.

    Thanks, Bill

I find that no entry I make into the smart syntac works, whether it be "file:///C:\path\filename" or "file:C:\path\filename". And for either, mousing over the link shows three \\\ slashes are inserted.

I would like to expand on this great (and under-appreciated) feature: this could be used to create a "master" Checkvist that referenced all one's other Checkvists. Why? The "master" checkvist could have a description of the purpose and context of each checkvist and/or a summary.

I would encourage Checkvist to highlight this great capability!!

Yes I can run the filter "in:closed" and show all completed tasks, but how to then take that filtered list and copy or move those items to a new list?
