Some of the reasons why I think you would want that -
1) Consistency. Since Notes supports markdown. I would want it to support all the supported Markdown instead of a partial fraction.
2) Often a list item could contain a "spec" / "ambition" of what needs to be done. And you would want the sub-list items to contain the "actions" of how to achieve the "spec" / "ambition".
In absence of the Notes support for checkboxes, I am forced to create 2 additional layers of sub-list - "specs" and "actions".
Hope you got the point.
Also there might be other scenarios where it could be useful. But really the main thing is consistency and the ability to have full mark-down support in all areas (well basically notes and list items).Saurabh Gupta shared this idea · -
