Hello, Lex! Actually, if you use smart syntax, all it takes to assign a task is add the @ and select a username from the completion window. No extra commands or steps. Also, if you add yourself as the assignee to the parent task, all its siblings will be also assigned to you - you'll receive notifications, see them in the search results, etc. Won't this work in your case?

We would really want to implement this in a new mobile HTML5 app for iphone/android devices first.

@Matej It's on our top priority list now. As soon as we've released the update we're working now (repeating tasks), we'll start working on the new mobile (offline) clients. Hope there'll be good news soon. The browser version could also handle the offline state better, but we'll start with the mobile offline support first, I think.
Sorry. -

Ryan, great idea and a very good technique. We'll think how to fit the "completed" view into our current UI. Thanks!

This is a good idea, we think about it ourselves.

@Erik Thanks for pointing out! We're new to Curio, we'll look closer at it.
But as far as I understand right now, you don't _switch_ between outline/mind map in Curio. You combine them (as well as other things, like table and pictures) on the same canvas. -

Dear Sityu, you will not lose your free version of Checkvist, and we'll never put any restrictions on the features that are currently free.
If you'd like to help and push our little tool forward, just help us to spread the word. Isn't it a better deal? :) -

@Ralf That's not us, that's a feature of UserVoice. May be we'll migrate to some other bug reporting service in the future, but so far you can always email us at kirsa@checkvist.com

Thanks, Kevin!
We'll try to give a raise to Checkvist, then our own raise will definitely follow :)

Hello, Judit! Nice to meet you here :) I have the same Chrome version on MacOSX, but 0 honestly clears priority for me! Any other hints how I can reproduce the problem?

Could you please be more specific?
Cross-list search is already available (if you press the Search button). Or do you want something else? -

But you can add notes to the selected list items (nn shortcut on the selected item or Add notes command from the Actions menu).
Seems like it's what you're requesting? -

Hi, Bjarke! So you want a bit of artificial intelligence to help you pick a task?
The next step will be a shortcut "Create a list for a [problem at hand]", won't it? :)) -

The daily backup feature provides (the PRO users ;) with quite a similar thing - we keep up to 10 daily backups of all your lists in the cloud, in OPML format. You can download and save or edit them in another editor anytime, and of course import back the results of your edits via import, available in the toolbar of each list.
The only lacking feature I see here is saving your lists automatically into your Dropbox account, not the "cloud" space Checkvist uses for this purpose.
Alternatively, you can manually export any of your lists and save it to Dropbox or desktop, and import back when needed.
Before we've implemented this as an option in the Print menu, there's a walkaround -- paste the following CSS code into the 'Customize print CSS' text area on the Profile page (tab 'Settings'):
.main_div .topbar, .main_div .topbar * {
visibility: visible;
height: auto;
position: static;
}
.main_div .topbar td {
display: none;
}
.main_div .topbar td.leftLogo, .main_div .topbar td.leftLogo .logoImg {display: block;
padding: 10px 0 5px 5px;
}
