Here is a CSS hack which enables this mode (if you have Checkvist PRO plan):

But, without Javascript part, so no keyboard support

    Thanks, Roger!

The problem should be fixed on https://beta.checkvist.com, it is a recently introduced bug.

    Hi Peter,

Thanks for the offer to help. I'm afraid we're not going to implement it very soon - looks it is not a trivial fix which I can squeeze into the current iteration, sorry. Not only because of the presentation.

Hope the fixes which will be released will be useful to you as well. Hope to come to this issue sometime later.

    Best,

    Hello Peter,

How would you handle the case when a parent has both "ASAP" children and children with a specific due? How would it be shown?

    Hello Peter,

Sorry, not yet. This request is quite valid, but I suppose, its usecase could be better covered by filtering the list with "due:any" filter. Am I wrong?

    Thanks,

Thanks for the idea, may be we'll find a decent presentation for such cases.

    Sorry for the problem.

This could be a synchronization bug. Could you please try going to the Profile -> About -> Clean all caches. This will clear the device database and re-synch the data from the Checkvist server. Hope it will fix the glitch.

    Thanks!

Also please take a look at this issue, maybe this is what you want to see implemented instead: https://checkvist.uservoice.com/forums/2121/suggestions/399064

    Hello,

It is really strange. Do you use the latest version of the Chrome browser at work?
Do you see any errors in Javascript console (you can see it when doing "Inspect Element" command from the popup menu).

    Thanks,

    Thanks for the suggestion!

As a temporary workaround, you can use 'gg' shortcut to navigate to the list item, 'mm' from there to move the task, and 'dd' after that to navigate to the due list back.

Good suggestion, but it requires lots of internal work in Checkvist. Don't have plans to implement it soon, sorry.

We'd love to implement adding items on the Due screen, most likely it would go with https://checkvist.uservoice.com/forums/2121-checkvist-web/suggestions/1673527-support-saved-searches-dynamic-lists request.

    It sounds quite doable.

In fact, we plan in this year to allow to separate professional and personal lists into 2 accounts and allow switching between them. Maybe this would solve the problem with separate due pages as well.

    Hi Charles,

You can use 'mm' command to move item within the list, and you can choose a parent item for the moved item there. Would it work as a workaround? So far actions menu is very large, I could not find an elegant solution on how to add 3 more items there.

    Hope this helps,

    Hi Mario,

Thanks for your feedback! Unfortunately, not sure when we'll manage to get to this feature, we have quite a lot on the plate right now, from different areas.

"Toggle focus" will contradict with our focus/hoist feature, cannot name it this way. Maybe something like "Show/hide attributes"?

Sounds interesting, but the devil is in the details. Which shortcut to use, how to name this option.

Maybe it worth to add toggling due dates as well?

Thanks for the suggestion. Have you tried using filtering on the list page, like "due:now #my_tag" - would it work as a workaround?

I like an idea about marking a place in the list where new items should be placed. Maybe something like #inbox tag for the parent item for incoming list items. Not sure about tag name, though.

Just want to note, that you can move tasks to the end of the list with Ctrl+End keyboard shortcut.

It couldn't be the default behaviour (it was already some time ago, but it isn't very useful to scroll to the end of the list to see moved items). May be an option.

Hi, could it be that you're looking for an option to expand all notes? There is a separate keyboard shortcut for that, 'sn'.

Otherwise, why would you want to navigate the list with arrow right instead of arrow down?
