By the moment, you can modify Checkvist presentation in the PRO plan. You can alter some colors, and provide advanced custom CSS styles which allow to change the font size. But this requires hard CSS coding. We need to provide simple way to specify different styles for a list.
The sample CSS for reducing font size in the list is:
ul.topLevel li { font-size: 12px;}
ul.topLevel ul li, ul.topLevel ul li.task { font-size: 10px;}Some more customisation samples can be seen in this list: https://checkvist.com/checklists/486715

An error occurred while saving the comment Sorry, no documentation on that. A sample styles are shown in the status of this request. If you have a specific request - please let me know.
By the way, there is a specific trick. If your list item has tags, the div for the list time has tags with name like tag_<tag name goes here>. Just in case :)
An error occurred while saving the comment Hello,
Actually, you can use 'tt' HTML tag to mark areas with monospace font.
On http://beta.checkvist.com, you can enable Markdown support, if you wish.
Would it work for you?
KIRAn error occurred while saving the comment There is a workaround if you're using Checkvist Pro account.

Checkvist now allows easy linking and a good preview of the linked tasks, please see this blog post for details and demo:

An error occurred while saving the comment Hello @caustik,
Thanks for the comment! We're probably won't allow custom Javascript due to security reasons. Pure client-side approach could work but I'm afraid it is not that easy to implement. Iframe would be ugly due to its fixed size, non-iframe requires work on adapting all commands javascript to work with data from different lists on the same page (and there are permissions issues).
It is doable to implement this feature "the right way", but it is rather resource-heavy, and we don't have much resources at hand yet :)
Given that we have to finalize our mobile app, we have to postpone this feature so far (despite that we already have a Checkvist outline for the implementation plan).
Thanks again!

Thanks for the comment, I think we'll try to disallow circular references.

An error occurred while saving the comment Hello Yuriy,
Thanks for your comment. I suppose regarding hard link/soft link issue - probably there won't be a difference in implementation, all links will be soft. Unfortunately, the current data structure in Checkvist does not allow hard links, because each item is coupled with its list. Of course, there will be an indicator where the 'master' item is located in UI.
Thanks again for the comment,

An error occurred while saving the comment Thanks everyone for the comments and suggestions for this feature.
So far, I cannot name any estimates when we will start working on this - but definitely not before the coming winter. Not because we don't consider it important - but because there are more important tasks we have to solve.
Thanks again,
KIRAn error occurred while saving the comment Unfortunately, this task is not in our nearest plans.
We consider implementing Zoom feature before this one: https://checkvist.uservoice.com/forums/2121-general/suggestions/898937-zoom-and-view-features
We also plan to provide a possibility to allow easy linking between lists:

An error occurred while saving the comment An error occurred while saving the comment To implement this feature, Checkvist should load data for due tasks and all their subtasks on the due page (which it doesn't do at the moment).
Ideally, we'd allow editing subtasks of due tasks on the due page, and this feature is probably even more interesting than showing progress counter.
Would you agree with that?

An error occurred while saving the comment Hello Joseph,
Could you clarify what you propose shortcuts 'u' and 'i' shortcuts for? Thanks,
An error occurred while saving the comment I've decided re-formulate the issue - to support shortcuts configuration. Not very easy, but possible.
An error occurred while saving the comment I'm afraid there may be conflicts with existing current shortcuts.
For instance 'hc' shortcut is used already, so we cannot use 'h', 'as' shortcut is also used for "asap" tasks, and it prevents us from using 'a'.
'oo' shortcut is used for checklist options popup also. So, to implement this, we have to provide totally different shortcut map (or allow user to customize tons of shortcuts).

Honestly, this issue was filed before 'mm' feature has been implemented, and now it is less crucial :)

An error occurred while saving the comment Hello Cris,
You're right, for this use case a native app is required.
May be, the simplest way to write it would be to create an app which sends e-mail to a given address, thus you could use "Send task via e-mail" feature to add tasks.Just a thought :)
Best,An error occurred while saving the comment Hello Cris,
To avoid context switching, you can use Checkvist Bookmarklet Chrome extension, https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/checkvist-bookmarklet/pheahjlflgbnajeilgglgcdlbkdckamf?hl=en
It works from the same page, you'll only need to login the first time you use it. Unfortunately, so far it cannot be activated with a keyboard shortcut, but I hope we'll add it (but we have to choose it wisely :)
Best,
An error occurred while saving the comment Hello,
Would you like to do it while sitting in Checkvist, or your request is about any web page?
Checkvist has a bookmarklet (see Tools tab on profile), which you can use to add ideas to your inbox (or any other) list.
Thanks for the suggestion,

An error occurred while saving the comment Also mentioned here: https://discuss.checkvist.com/t/mark-items-as-actionable/258
The current implementation idea is to include only items with checkboxes into progress counter.
An error occurred while saving the comment Hi, thanks for the idea :)
As a workaround for the problem we have a progress counter feature, which works within the list.
I.e. you can create a sub-node Tasks or Work Items in your list, and press 'pc', this will create a progress counter for only for that node. It won't affect the overall list progress, though.Hope this helps,
