An error occurred while saving the comment Hello Michael,
You're right, Checkvist caches names of the lists on per-tab basis. Thanks for the report, though we didn't think it would be a problem. On the other side, we have much faster response times when showing the list of existing lists.

Workaround: use ‘xx’ shortcut to extract list branch to a separate list, and give permissions to this extracted list.
An error occurred while saving the comment Another request with the same idea:
http://checkvist.uservoice.com/forums/2121-general/suggestions/5271433-task-delegation-allow-for-task-delegation-withoutsAn error occurred while saving the comment Hello Ben,
As a workaround, you can use 'xx' shortcut to extract list branch to a separate list, and you can give permissions to this extracted list.

An error occurred while saving the comment Hi Ted,
Thanks for the suggestion! Such extension is not very hard to implement, but it is not a trivial thing. And we'd like to focus on mobile offline app and bugfixing so far.

file:///path still doesn’t work
An error occurred while saving the comment Hello Bill,
Unfortunately, you cannot open local links from browser - this is a security issue, as far as I know. You can probably copy/paste the link and open it from the Windows Explorer.
An error occurred while saving the comment Bill, the smart syntax for file:/// doesn't work now. But you can use lnk: syntax to insert a link into the text. Would it work for you?
An error occurred while saving the comment Looks like file:///path doesn't work with URL syntax recognition, but it works when adding links with lnk: smart syntax, like [link: link text|file:///path/file]. Not a solution, but a workaround.

An error occurred while saving the comment I think this closely relates to this issue: https://checkvist.uservoice.com/forums/2121-general/suggestions/2017839-allow-search-filter-by-tag-to-use-or-and-not
An error occurred while saving the comment I don't think we'll add anything like this anytime soon. Too specific and not trivial to implement.

Regarding hiding the help - you can hide it by clicking in the top right corner.

An error occurred while saving the comment We wouldn't want to put "Due" to "Lists". It is non-natural. Why the current way of navigating to due page "Esc dd" doesn't work for you?

An error occurred while saving the comment So far it is not possible. Why would you want to backup only part of your data?

Good idea, and useful. Will try to find time for it.
An error occurred while saving the comment With the latest release, Checkvist copies view settings on the list 'copy' command.

An error occurred while saving the comment Hello Ted,
Please clarify what do you mean as 'clones'. Checkvist allows to create a full copy of an existing list (create a clone). This action is available from the toolbar, as "copy".Regards,

An error occurred while saving the comment Hello Samuel,
Thanks for the suggestion. Do you create private tags a lot?
So far I'm not convinced that this operation is so often that requires improvements.Regards,

An error occurred while saving the comment Hello Andy, if you don't trust in our ability to protect your data on our own servers - please use other tool.
Checkvist PRO protects your data on the way to our servers, and we're trying hard to avoid data leak from our servers. We don't make the data "fully accessible" to the public.
An error occurred while saving the comment The contents of user lists is stored unencrypted, and admins can read it.
Access to list contents by admins is performed only if authorized by the list owner.
Unfortunately, I cannot promise the security level you're asking for - it wasn't the focus of the tool. Rather, we'll provide standalone tool installations.
Happy New Year :)

Still cannot decide on when to open a new tab and when to keep current one.

An error occurred while saving the comment If you don't mind, please send me the ID of the list so I could take a look what's going on there and what could be the reason of the problem.
Thanks,
An error occurred while saving the comment I suppose you didn't close <b> tag in the parent list item.
By the way, Checkvist supports Markdown formatting, if you're interested - you can enable it on Profile->Settings page.
An error occurred while saving the comment Hello,
Why would you need such a possibility?
This is really odd request, probably you're trying to achieve something I cannot get so far. What is the use case?

An error occurred while saving the comment Thanks for the suggestion! There is a small trap, though - if we provide such shortcut, people expectations would be to consider holidays in addition to weekends. And given that holidays are quite different in different countries, this task is hardly feasible.

An error occurred while saving the comment What do you think about adding some smartness, i.e. if you add 3 tasks un a row, the option would turn on automatically, until page reload?
Or, we could put this option into the options popup ('oo').
I really don't want to add a keyboard shortcut just for this option.
Thanks for the suggestion - it is rather interesting.
As a workaround for the task, you can add a private tag "shared" to the shared lists. First, add a tag 'shared' to the shared lists (on lists index page); then, go to the https://checkvist.com/checklists#tags page, click on the arrow on the left side near the tag, and mark it 'private', so other people won't see this tag.
Making tags private works in Checkvist PRO plans only.
Hope, this helps,
