This is a good idea, we think about it ourselves.

This is a great idea but I'm curious to know how it might be implemented without diluting the simplicity that is so wonderful about Checkvist...

In all honesty... if you can make good money by having them in free accounts whilst NOT having them be too obnoxious or in the way, why not?? I'd like to see this product remain profitable for years and years to come. If it funds development, keeps the founders fed and the users productive, I'm all for it.

We’ve added basic support of iPad to the Checkvist service. Please, read more at http://checkvist.tumblr.com/post/6973390391/checkvist-on-ipad-safari

Its not much of an offline option, but Checkvist via the iPads' browser is phenomenal. I realize smooth mobile browser use is a bit of a low bar these days, but Checkvist is still leaps and bounds above other similar web-based systems I've tried.
P.S.: A native app would be fabulous! just had to throw out kudos for well-done work in making the browser version work so well. ;)

I've struggled with this limitation of search also. Improvements to the search function would be extremely valuable!
