We’ve added basic support of iPad to the Checkvist service. Please, read more at http://checkvist.tumblr.com/post/6973390391/checkvist-on-ipad-safari

In Safari on iPad I cannot use the keyboard shortcuts for navigation when using a bluetooth keyboard. This is frustrating, as one of the main reasons I wanted a keyboard for my iPad 2 was for working on my checkvists faster :-P

This is a great idea- being able to see Task (overall due) (soonest child task due) and then have it so that when the child's date is clicked on it expands the tree and selects the child (or on hover could just reveal child task title).
Once I have some votes I'll support this!

Dear Adrian, thanks for giving your vote to this issue! We’ll try hard to keep the user interface simple – promise!

Agreed- this is a great simple way to manage tasks- the issue is extending capability without changing the interface. Don't add features, add to core function.
We don't need a blasted ribbon bar, or more tertiary options, we just need our primary tools to be more available (more devices and integrations into things like gmail calendar, offline mode) and consistent (same color-setup on tags on published lists as when you view them when you're logged in, for example).
Keep up the good work!

I agree with the note colors. Don't necessarily need more customization, but note colors being consistent would be helpful- maybe a tint/shade of the regular background color?

Workaround: use ‘xx’ shortcut to extract list branch to a separate list, and give permissions to this extracted list.

I would say we need a #private tag for publishing lists

I would argue that we should just be able to have password protected read-only access to lists as an option. That way we can give a link and a password to specific users who we want to see the task list.
I think a #private tag would be great too

Actually, I amend my former comment, it would be much better to have real sync rather than just a one-time export/import.

This could be done by formatting the lists using categories and such, so that it exports as an .xls file formatted for Outlook's "import from another file format" option.

How about talking to the guys behind Bubbl.us? That would be a cool integration too, as Bubbl is by far the best looking mind-mapping option out there.

We would really want to implement this in a new mobile HTML5 app for iphone/android devices first.

"Yes, please!" to nesting. The ability to subset one list into another would really compliment the extract feature, and I could really use it right now for creating summary lists that I can then share selected pieces (the extracted/nested parts) with others
