Really good and useful request.
Regarding accidental data loss: Checkvist Pro account gives you up to 10 daily backups of all your lists. Not the same, but may help in some cases.

We would really want to implement this in a new mobile HTML5 app for iphone/android devices first.

Checkvist has become an essential tool for my daily work (to do lists, project management, process checklist etc.). I have a pretty stable internet connection at my office but when travelling I often have to work offline. Not being able to access my lists then, means that I am far less productive.

Checkvist has become an essential tool for my daily work (to do lists, project management, process checklist etc.). I have a pretty stable internet connection in my office but when travelling I often have to work offline. Not being able to access my lists then, means to be far less productive.
Yesterday, when pressing the delete key to remove a single entry from my list, the key suddenly got stuck. When I released it finally I had accidentally removed about 20 entries, some of them containing notes and sub entries. The undo function recovered only the last one, so it was a very painful data loss. So, please provide a way to (automatically) save and (manually) restore revisions.
