Ya nativefire will not work, as a option you should try https://apps.shopify.com/appokart

The nativefier doesn't work on my localhost, but I found nice service that uses it: https://appmaker.xyz/web2desk/

@Marica - nativefier worked for me. Running Gnome on Fedora Linux. I did have to create a .desktop file for Checkvist to appear in the application menus.
@Kirill - running Checkvist as a native app means I can get to it more easily with Alt-Tab, opening it as window that remembers its size rather than in a browser tab, and having its own icon in the Gnome Dash (aka Dock on a Mac).

Marica, thanks for the suggestion, will take a look.

I'm using https://github.com/jiahaog/nativefier : general purpose web app wrapper generator based on electron

Hello, thanks for the suggestion.
What value do you personally see in the Desktop version?
May be a Fluid wrapper would work for you as well: http://fluidapp.com/Thanks,
