  2. Checkvist is good enough to use it for personal and professional todo lists (splitted, for sure)…
But these are 2 different worlds and you may expect to use the "due" view for only one of the lists, and not see your "profesionnal" deadlines when checking your personal planning.

Regarding this, I would really like to have a way to display tasks of one list (or maybe many).

There can be many ways to allow to filter the list(s). Here are some ideas:

    add a new “list:xxx” filter

add the possibility to get the “due” view for ore list

  3. I have 27" Thunderbolt display and Checkvist takes use only tiny amount of screen real-estate. Could there be a full width mode for people like me? I also take quite lengthy notes so extra width would be a help.

  6. "Harvard Business School professor Teresa Amabile's research says keeping track of them will make you happier at work, more productive, and more motivated." (http://lifehacker.com/5958265).

It would be great to have a "Done" Tasks view so you could see at a glance the things you accomplished Today, Yesterday, Last Week, Earlier; kind of like the opposite of the "Due" Tasks view.

This new Done view would allow you at the end of the day to take a quick look at all the tasks you had completed during the day (or the previous day) aggregated across all of your task…

  7. It would be usefull to have a " move & close task" feature.

The feature would be used to i.e. close/complete a task AND move it to an other folder (in one click) i.e. "Done May-2009" this will provide a easy way to find old tasks.

  8. Many tasks need to be addressed over a range of dates. If it's a big task, the 'due' date could be days or weeks later than the start date. Currently to model this in checkvist, uses can only try a kludge-by-convention (for example use a 'start this' subtask).

  9. Hi,

There've been suggestions about the format to print a single checklist. The feature I am looking for is a one-click-print-all (or, in an improved version, one-click-print-selected-checklists) feature. I'm fine with the plain format provided. It'd be best if there'd be options to have each checklist on a separate page or all checklists resized to fit onto a single page.

    Thanks,
    Yasemin

  12. I've created outlines in Google Docs, which exports HTML. But copy & pasting from Google Docs, or HTML, does not maintain the list hierarchy. I could write a script to import HTML and maintain the <li> hierarchy, but seems to me checkvist should have this functionality built in.

  13. Right now our office is using Checkvist for our project tracking and really enjoy it so far. One thing that's been bugging us, though, is the lack of any sort of "admin" account for all the subscribers.

Right now a developer might make a list, but neglect to share it with someone and there's no other way for us to get access to that list.

It'd be great if, at the very least, the manager of the subscription has access to all lists created by all subscribers under them, or maybe an easy option to "share with team"; something that…

  14. Checkvist basically contains all of my most private information. It would be good if all the data is only saved encrypted on the server and is locally decrypted with AES in the browser.

A second password for that local decryption would be required.

This would give me peace of mind, that my intimate data is not stolen or breached by any third party.

  16. When pasting a URL into the search box, entries with Markdown links with that URL as destination should be highlighted. Right now, the search engine only searches through visible text.

  19. So users viewing on an iphone can edit their lists without the need of the keyboard, they can click Add node/move node.. etc. (With that I think it will work on iphone and be on the go friendly)

  20. It would be nice if you could have multiple views open at once in the same tab, in some sort of arrangeable panels. I have many lists and I open them in separate tabs, but it would be nice to be able to view multiple lists at once in one tab.

In my case, I could then see my brief/sparse daily todo, my long notes list, focused on this week's sub-item, and my primary project list open in the largest panel.

From there you could drag items between lists etc.
