create a desktop client and/or widget!
It would be really cool to have a desktop client or widget which i can use on os x or my pc.
It is now possible to install a native Chrome-based app from Checkvist site. Use a corresponding icon from the right side of the Chrome location bar, after opening checkvist.com. See a demo here: https://twitter.com/checkvist_news/status/1697602416009511059

Hello,
We don't have a nearby plan to implement a wrapper for windows. But it can be easily done because Checkvist opens an embedded view when opened as
https://checkvist.com/iframe.htmlYou can use this knowledge to implement a windows wrapper and share it, if you wish :)
Best,

Hi. I'm a new user of Checkvist coming from Trello. I am now trying Checkvist to see if it's better for my workflow than Trello. Feels promising.
I have installed the Chrome plugin too, but having a windows-system-tray-only app would be a clear win. I don't want even to open chrome in order to check progress/add new item in Checkvist. Having a system-tray icon would be a time saver for me.
Maybe one can wrap the app that is used in the chrome plugin and make an system-tray executable app for windows? Also, having a windows shortcut for opening-up the app would be next obvious step. Also, maybe I can take this in free time and try to make such a wrapper of the app? -
Thanks for the suggestion, though it is not clear why would one need a standalone executable for Checkvist - the app can be written in pure HTML5 with offline support.
