Focus mode/Hide all subitems on current and sibling items for making a clean overview
Hey, Kir. Howdy?
Infinite nested lists are very useful for detailisation, but often I need to focus/review only the top-level tasks in a particular branch. Subtasks only distract me at this moment. Tasks in other branches, above and sibling, only distract me.
Suggestion: add a context menu "hide subtasks on this and sibling items". The expected behaviour -- all the items under the same parent as the current one have their subitems folded, making a short tide overview of a project. I then can unfold them one by one or fold them back -- also one by one. Not sure if need "unfold all under the same parent" action.
Bonus: give such a focused list an unique URL, so I can share it with say my client team without overwhelming them with all other branches/projects in my list.
This is ‘focus’ feature we already have, see ‘pin’ in the toolbar of the tool.

Long time no see ;)
I think we already have this feature, called focus/hoist, invoked by Shift+Right. Have you tried it?
As for unique URL - we have "Create permalink" feature which creates a link with keeping current focus and filter state. Though, it does not protect from unfocusing and unfiltering. Create permalink is available from "more actions" in toolbar.

In fact, I made the description overcomplicated. It is enough if an item had an action "Focus here". That action would make this item a root of the shown list. Only the immediate children of that list should be shown (tho they can be expanded). On top of the root there should be a breadcrumb path showing where am I in the overall tree, so I can easily exit the focus mode.
