Import option: Use empty line as task separator
So the user could copy a large list of tasks (sometimes multi-lined) from a text editor and have a useful outline without other tweaking. (requested by S.B. via email)

Olli, so far I cannot reproduce the problem with wrong positioning.
I'd appreciate if you find a repeatable scenario when it doesn't work and give us the details.
Thanks!

Except, this does apparently not happen always. Sometimes all of them do become subitems appropriately.

I was thinking I would just thank you finally as that one indeed got fixed - however, there is another one... :)
When having a task selected in the full web version, and then selecting import with empty line as separator, only some of the new tasks become children of the selected task (which I assumed was the intention), and the rest are still scattered around rather randomly.

Olli, we've finally fixed the problem with task positioning. Sorry it took longer than should.

Well, it's supposed that the imported stuff will be added on top of the list.
We'll check and fix this asap. Sorry! -

Wow, thanks! Sweet stuff. You just released perhaps an hour a month of free time for me :D. It seems though that the new tasks are being added in random spots all around the existing list, not at the end? I did this in the mobile ui and at least there it looks like that.

I really am in pain with this.
I need a way to write down tasks from my mobile quicly and also while offline. As there is no app, I just store the todos as notes. Then when I get online, I copy the entire list of todos - as one bunch of text - through the clipboard to checkvist mobile ui.
The laborious part is that I have to, in checkvist on my laptop, manually split these notes into tasks. Tasks are separated always by two line breaks, so this could easily be done automatically if you had such an import functionality. Your current import breaks even single tasks that sometimes have single line breaks - my tasks are sometimes elaborate - into many tasks, and cleaning up the mess your import has done is more difficult than doing it manually.
For this to actually work, In addition to sashika's request, I would also need mobile access to the import functionality so I could paste my tasks into an import box on my cell phone instead of the "add task" box as one task.
Thanks!
