Allow to edit tasks and set tags in Due and Search result views
Currently the "Due" dynamic list is special in the sense that most of the commands do not work there.
This is quite frustrating as it's probably the list I use more frequently.
The command that I miss the most is edit: if I want to change a task I have to click on the task, press gg to go to the task, edit it, go back to Due list
Having the option also to go to a search tag (ff) or to enter a new tag (tt) would be useful.
Hi, could you please check https://beta.checkvist.com – we’ve started working on this feature.

Awesome !! Thank You for all the hard work and great results
Thanks a lot for the feedback! We'll wait for some more people to take a look (and we'll have to fix some bugs we are aware of) :)
Woot! This is slick! I'm not having any issues as I play with it. Thank you!
Thanks. I was thinking of manual ordering *within* sections ('today', 'ASAP' etc). The kind of use I had in mind would be to focus on 'Today', and then move tasks around to the order I wish to tackle them in.
It's a lesser detail though. The bigger picture is: the closer the Due list's behaviour to other lists, the less friction its use will entail.
Thanks for your comments. As for expanding subtasks - I hope we'll manage to implement it when we start working on this task. Manual reordering is a bit more tricky, because it is a not very clear how to combine automated sorting by due date and manual sorting provided by user.
A couple more things I'd like to be able to do in the Due list:
* expand subtasks (even when they do not individually have a due date)
* manually re-order tasks (ie. move lines up and down)
Not sure if these belong in this post exactly, though there is an overarching theme: the Due list could be much more useful as a working document for the day if it behaved more like a standard list.
Please also allow multi-select in the Due list. Postponing a bunch of due items is an unfortunately necessary part of many workflows ;(
Also, add checkboxes/bulleted list view on these pages, if corresponding options enabled for the lists shown there.
DUE is my fav list. please enable all the shortcuts!
