Add More Time Options on "Due" display
It would be helpful to add more time options on "Due" outside of "tomorrow" and "later".
My suggestion is to add "This week", "Next week", "This month" between "tomorrow" and "Later". Or anything better.
In this way I can have more control on my schedule.
Thanks for considering that.

Hello all,
Here's a sketch of what might be done regarding the request, https://plus.google.com/+SashaMaximova/posts/eyW2QatADf1
any feedback very much appreciated! -

Actually, for me, I think the current setup is simple and works very well. I use the priority tags (colors ) for this type of dateless prioritization, and only add actual dates for truly date-driven items. And, a subtle but important difference, I like that these two dimensions are separate. If a bunch of quasi-date terms like ASAP, Later, Someday/Maybe are added to the actual date field I think it overcomplicates things and actually ends up with effectively two "dimensions" being blended within one property field

Right now I think the only option that you can use, without setting a definitive date, is "ASAP" correct?
I greatly second that it would be excellent to have a few more categories of undefined date deadlines. It's possible to simply use priority (colors etc) to signal this as well, so it's not a total must-have, but would be very nice to simply have a few more option that function like "ASAP" .

Some good suggestions here! I like the idea of "someday" or equivalent for tasks that have no date. Of course not everything in an outline is necessarily a task, so I think this means adding a due date of "Someday" in the same way as we have "ASAP". Then these tasks should appear in the Due list below tasks with dates - e.g. "ASAP", "Later" and "Someday" or similar.
The ability to save searches would also be useful here to create views for the next week, month etc. etc.

Unfortunately the due: week filter etc (filter all lists) does not bring back all tasks - there may be a "show more" button at the bottom, which then brings back more tasks but does not group them under the existing list header - so it doesn't provide a comprehensive, organized view of what is due this week. I support this request to add "this week" as another breakout section on the Due Tasks view.

@BigDave Do you know that you can filter Due list with something like due: overdue (using the filter at the top) and the filter will work when you'll press "print" icon?
You can also use due: week, due: next week in the filter.

can we also consider a profile option that limits what is shown on the DUE list (especially for printing). Show tasks due within xx days. Some people will like a weeks worth, others a month, maybe all of them.
@jakemayer isn't "someday" just no date at all?

This would help tremendously. I tend to use a variant of GTD, and fixed dates are not so important for most things, but i would also like to see-
this week, next week, later, someday/maybe. -

I missed the fact that you can search like this. This helps.
I can not figure out is how to sort all tasks ( both main tasks and nested tasks ) by due date for more then today and tomorrow. Seeing what is due in the next week or month is great but sorting by date would be very helpful to me.
Thanks!

I would be happy with just everything being sorted by there date.
This includes sub tasks. But having things broken into better category's like original post suggests would be great.
