    It helps me a lot.

  4. Ability to email in items like with Nozbe, Remember The Milk etc; I would like to be able to 'phone in' tasks using Dial2Do (similar to Jott).

  6. For more collaborative use, the task should be assigned to a shared person when creating each task.
User should be notified when a change is made for any task the user is assigned to.

  9. SIMPLE TIME MANAGEMENT.

    * Each task / sub-task should have its own hours or minutes for completion.
    * Total time could be allocated to the parent task and All the tasks could be tallied up to a total hours so that you can keep track of the big picture * Once a task has been marked completed its time is then subtracted.

  10. ”Extract as A New List" is nice way to "divide and conqueror," but this is a static operation, which brings about a permanent change to the data structure. There is no convenient way provided so far for you to re-structure if you screwed up.

I am wondering if you can add a more dynamic and more versatile way for similar effects. You could call it "zooming." You specify a branch of the tree. Then you'll be shown the branch as if it was the whole tree, with other parts of the original tree hidden. The difference from the current "Extract…

  13. Currently the "Due" dynamic list is special in the sense that most of the commands do not work there.
This is quite frustrating as it's probably the list I use more frequently.
The command that I miss the most is edit: if I want to change a task I have to click on the task, press gg to go to the task, edit it, go back to Due list

Having the option also to go to a search tag (ff) or to enter a new tag (tt) would be useful.

  14. If a task has one or more children, I would like to see a percentage complete for the parent task since there is not way to tell how many sub-tasks have been completed when the task is collapsed. The weighting of children should be dependent on whether they also have child tasks associated with them.

  15. Hi,

I absolutely love Checkvist, congratulations to the developers. One ingenious feature would be if the users could drag and drop photos, word documents or sound files into the Checkvist window and attach these to a task. This way, I could discuss with my colleagues whether we want photo a or photo b in a particular section. I could also share the most recent version of a document and everyone could download it being sure that they are working with the newest version.

I hope this makes it into the software!

    Cheers,

    Eric

  17. Firefox addon would be great, but it will be much better to get open API to create any other kind of offline clients (i.e. I'm just very interested in vim plugin for it and I'll create in case of open API existence).

    • Put a 'filter' box at the top.
    • As I type in the box, only show the records that match the filter.
    • This way, if I have my own personal tagging system (like an @Home context), I can quickly show just the items in that context.
    • Add a visual indicator that some items are hidden - perhaps a thin grey line or something for each section of hidden items.
    • Put an 'x' button right next to the filter box, so that the filter can be quickly removed.
