  1. IS this already supported? if not what are my best options/workarounds? maybe something with custom CSS or code ? (just trying to think outside the box)

  2. When in a design meeting, freeform editing like in Checkvist is very useful, but it's a lot of work to copy and paste Checkvist text into the issue tracker. Exporting directly from Checkvist would be awesome. The "highest level" task should be the issue title and the child tasks should be added to the issue description.

Exported tasks should be clearly marked and link to the corresponding Jira / Youtrack issue.

  3. In color settings I should be able to select a color theme, like Zenburn, Solarized, Dark, where whole UI will be perfectly polished, to work with that theme.

  4. For lists with multiple items at multiple levels of hierarchy, Checkvist does a good job of maintaining the expand/collapse state, but it remains difficult to just browse the items at a particular level. I would suggest alt+{down,up,j,k} to move to the next/previous task at the same level as the current task.

  5. Hello

This request is something where I really think it could help get the focus back on the tasks without being "cluttered" by the notes. (Of course only if you use notes extensively.)
If you have an outline with many tasks and those tasks contain many notes (detail information about the task, links to relevant resources and so on) and all those tasks and notes are expanded, than it is hard to distinguish the task from the notes.

I think one solution would be to show the notes for a selected task in an area e.g. on the right side…

  6. Hi
when using list wide search (i.e. when hit two enter/ crtl+entr) searching for web doesn't return website as a result.
There is no such bug when you search only within a list. (i.e. when you hit / and start typing)

  7. I really need the ability to list any predecessors a task has... or to put it another way, I need to record the tasks that a certain task is dependent on. I have been evaluating veoproject, which allows this using task id numbers that are autoupdated as the task list is altered) but I like your interface better so I hope you will add this!

  10. It would be great to have a calendar view of the current week (or day, or month) next to the checklist (where the keyboard hints are currently displayed) and being able to drag and drop tasks into the calendar.
This calendar view would be awesome to schedule your day and week based on your priority, and have a quick view on what needs to be done today.
If you couple that with Google Calendar integration and a full iphone app, you've got yourself the dreamiest organizational tool of all times!

  11. There are main tasks need to completed by a certain date, they could be deliverables or milestones, whatever we define them to be.

For some subtasks (usually indented below a task) are added as ideas for what could help them accomplish the main task, but they are not always prerequisites. When completed they count on the Progress Tracker, but that can be fool's gold...

  15. An audit trail of status changes to a task would be very useful. Dates of creation, modification, completed, reopened etc, just the dates, even without the actual content of modifications.

  16. Currently, if I view a collapsed list item containing a child list item with a due date, no due date is visible to indicate when a child list item is due. I need to expand the list item to see if any child items have a due date.

I'd like to have the parent list item indicate the nearest due date assigned to a child list item. I think this would need to be done in a way that appears unique, different from the existing due date appearance, so if you have a due date on the parent task (i.e.,…

  20. Users would be amazed if you support emojis as Github does e.g. in their commits (see http://www.emoji-cheat-sheet.com). The ability to express emotions in a checkvist line makes editing tons more fun.
