Current work in progress for the offline HTML5 hybrid app, please try it: https://checkvist.com/auth/mobile
We also have a separate feature pool for it:

Hi ~
Thanks for this service :-)
I'm pro account user but i do need android version app ASAP.
If possible, make it Plz.
Happy New Year~ :-) -
@wldmr We don't think iPhone app should have all the features of the original Checkvist app. Anyway, if you miss any specific API, please let us know - we're trying to add missing parts upon requests. About "3 years old" - we're trying to do our best. Sorry if it is not enough for you.

OK people. This is the top request and it is *3 years old*. This is starting to get embarrassing.
The least you could do is get the APi up to a 1:1 match with the features on the site so other people can develop those apps. Or just get to it yourselves and finally make those apps. PLEEEEEESE!

I just discovered Checkvist today (after hours of research to find the best checklist/outline/task manager with reminders), and I love it! I would also love a Blackberry app that works offline. We corporate road warriors don't always have internet (e.g. on planes), and it would be great to be able to read checkvist and maybe do basic editing on a blackberry. Blackberry Torch has touchscreen capability, like an iPhone, so maybe it wouldn't be too difficult to make an app for it?

Need an Android native app that shows nesting of tasks. Unfortunately the one mentioned below (Jabanaki Software) does not allow for nesting. May as well use RememberTheMilk in that case or some other non-nesting Android app.

I've just released an independent Android app that supports Checkvist using the Checkvist Open API.

Add the ability to add notes in the mobile version would be appreciated. (If it exists, please tell me how, I don't see the option in Android 2.2)

I don't mind the basic mobile ui which displays well on my Android. The only thing missing is the ability to move the tasks around on the list. This would be a nice intermin improvement.

In Miren browser (on my samsung tab) there is an option for 'ipad' user agent, and it works well (actually almost all of the features available - actually only in landscape position). It's not perfect, but far better than mobile ui.
Some suggestions: the right sidebar should stay fixed ('cause it's neccessary at the editing point), and the disabling of the horizontal screen panning (somehow) would be great, it would be great to have a sidebar without the text explanations.
So, thnx for the working android solution, but carry on improving it! -

i'd be delighted with readonly view offline... i often have my iPad on the plane and use it to keep me focused.

Another request for a universal iPhone/iPad app. I would pay $9.99 for this.

Existing android/mobile web solution is usable, but giving it at least the offline usability would be great.
I do care about ability to read the list items, when I am out of my computer. I do not care much about ability to edit items on the go, I prefer to make a note to my small NoteTaker (just on paper) and enter it as soon as I am at my computer. -
We have an OpenAPI, and we're extending it to provide more Checkvist features via this API. And, there is a company which started developing Mac/iOS application for the Checkvist. So (keep the fingers crossed), iOS app will be available sooner than we thought.
So if there is anyone who want to develop Android app - feel free to do so, but drop us a line about this. -

I've just been trying out http://checkvist.com/m/ . It's pretty useable already on my Android Froyo device. However, I would really love to have basic task moving up/down and change nesting level be supported in the mobile UI.
Could a pop up box (or sidebar) come up after a long press/click? The pop up box can show up/down, left/right arrows and cancel buttons. I'm hoping the maxkir.cmd.move_up() scripts and similar would be supported in android/iphone browser javascript engine. ;-)

Why don't you do it like Todoist? They have an API and others have provided apps for Android, iPhone or plugins for Websites...
Not having an android app is really a pain point for me, unfortunately the keyboard support of Todoist does not even come close to yours. -

Will add my vote for an iphone and ipad app - I do like the web app but need the ability to move items up/down and indent which would be in my imaginary app...

I'm afraid, we cannot give estimates for this - we have not started working on it yet.

Do we have an estimated time frame for when we'll see this, Kirill?

@Betto Agree, it is not usable, just achievable :). Will try to find a decent solution for iPad as well.
