No progress in this direction yet. We researched the demand about a year ago and unfortunately found it rather insignificant. Being a small team, we have to concentrate on the most important features first.
The request's status was misleading, I've updated it.

That's a good twist. I was thinking of putting my logo on my list, but it would be cool to put my client logo on each list to easily keep track of that. But overall, I would vote on the side of simplicity. What you have going on is great, and I wouldn't want to add too much to it.

@Vin Thomas: would you like to change logo once for all your lists or to have an ability to upload different logos for different lists?

That would be helpful. It would also be nice to be able to pay a small fee to be able to brand it. You could put "Company X" where the checkvist logo sits -- Similar to how basecamp works.
