Standalone separate installation for companies
Some people would like to have a separate checkvist installation for their companies.

Yes! It's sad to not be able to use this exceptional outliner as it is a cloud-based solution and therewith violates our company policy. A standalone installation would be awesome :)
By the way,...any chance to split up the lists in panes in this context and so set up a Kanban-Boad...?

This is one of the best outlining tools I've ever seen. Please don't miss out by making it available offline. Also, mobilie is good, but some of us still live with our laptops.

I work for a software company that deals with live Internet core security issues, and we would love to use Checkvist to track progress on all the different issues we deal with. However, we are forbidden from posting security-related information externally.
My company would pay for an on-site version of Checkvist and maintain it ourselves (we have a dedicated internal operations group just for that purpose). Has anyone else made a similar request?

I would pay for this.

Hmm.. not sure this use case is convincing. Security policies are very real, of course, but they may need to be updated. Perhaps an approach is to partner with a software publisher already accepted by the must-be-inside-the-dmz crowd.

+1 here as well. A few of the folks that are willing to take the risk to collaborate use it anyway, but a enterprise install would really help.

as in the other comments security is an issue. so please provide an in-house solution/installation.

We need an enterprise solution or we will not be able to deploy the solution without violating our security policy.

We are abandoning Checkvist because we need an in-house version - can't share stuff in the Cloud anymore as this violates our corp policy.

This would be a great feature that could allow the tool to be used locally when not connected to the broader internet or allow a company to completely control a checklist if the checklist contents are sensitive or confidential.
