Add time to due dates. For example: "Thursday @ 14:30"

-
We have a small enhancement which allows to set due time for Google Calendar integration:
If text of the due task contains something like "at 10:00", this time should be used for google calendar integration task.
Maybe this will be useful.

I add time into the task name using the following scheme: "09:30 | Meet the boss ^today". It works okay with Due view because Checkvist sorts that kind of todos properly, but I do miss the proper support for timestamps! I would like to see ability for Google Calendar to pick up these timestamps and notify me. Currently Checkvist doesn't provide timestamp to Google Calendar...

Hello Arun,
I'm sorry, but so far it is not planned and hardly will be. You can set time information in text of the item, if you wish.

Time is useful for situations far simpler than detailed day planning. For example, I have a whole bunch of tasks that can't be done until the evening (say, after 5pm). If I could make them due at 5pm, then they would show up when I can actually deal with them and not spend the whole day cluttering up my due list.

Hi Kirill,
I understand and I am the first one to approve the desire for simplicity.
However I think the time thing is easy to implement, and it is useful for, if nothing else, simply getting the date entries sorted out on the due dates view - as within the same day they would sort themselves out automatically in chronological order. It would kind of give an overview of a particular day.
I had this functionality on todoist (which I quit because of their awkward navigation and more importantly for their lack of any backup/export facility) and I found it handy.
Now I agree I can live without it but, as I said, it would be fairly easy to implement (and also handy if you plan a link with a calendar) and then no need to go much further than that into too complicated stuff.
Best and thanks for the great program,

Peter, honestly, I don't think Checkvist will ever have "due time" functionality. We never envisioned it as a detailed day planning tool.
More likely, we'll try to add some integration with tools like Google Calendar, but not sure about time granularity
