Add the functionality of putting tasks/lists in folders
I feel that it would be more organized if users could drop and drag or use a dropdown list to put items in folders.

Given that you can tag lists, filter by tag, group lists by tag – is this request is still relevant?
See about list tagging at: http://checkvist.uservoice.com/forums/2121-general/suggestions/992077-tagging-for-lists

Olli, when you have hundreds of lists it is not very practical to show all the lists, I think. Right now you can filter lists either by list name, or by list tag, using live filter. Isn't it sufficient?

I think I should probably add a new wish - the description of this suggestion matches what I am looking for, not the title. What I am mostly missing is an ability to browse through all my lists when moving a task - I do not always remember which lists I have and thus, whether or not I already have an appropriate list for something or if I need to create a new one. I like the fact that checkvist lists are uncluttered, i.e. unlike google notebook, you don't have the list of lists always visible. However, as you already have mouse dNd with shift down, it would be great that for example by dragging an item to the far left side of the window, you could make checkvist push a list of lists from the left side, animating/pushing the main content to the right by the width of the list.
Then if you had too many lists to show, you could just keep dragging and move your mouse down in the list to reveal items (lists) further down the list of lists, and then drop the item to the appropriate list.

Even if there was a horizontal line that we could add to the list of checklists and have the checklists in our own drag and drop order.....
This is a big deal for my business, with all the team members, it really helps if I can see all of Heather's or Bill's or Megan's lists all together.

Steve, actually having a project name in the list name is how we cope with this problem so far. We also consider adding tagging for lists (instead of folders), corresponding request is http://checkvist.uservoice.com/forums/2121-general/suggestions/992077-tagging-for-lists

i have. i definitely appreciate the quickness of it, but i still find my list to be cluttered. i work on multiple projects at the same time, and when i think of a list i want to look at, i think of the project first - this is what i would use folders for...so that i would only see in "ll" a list of a few projects i was working on, then could drill into a project, to find the list i was interested in. i suppose this can be accomplished by keeping the project name in the name of each list, so i can use it to filter down the main list...i will try that and see if that works for me. thanks!

Steve, have you tried 'll' popup? It allows quick navigation to target list with typing part of its name.

grouping lists would be awesome...i am a multi-list kind of guy, and i don't like having to merge them all into one list. if my lists were grouped, it would be easier for me to navigate to the list i wanted to work on through the header, rather than seeing all my lists in a non-alphabetized order. (checkvist is awesome!)
