Migrating from Todoist I really miss repeating options like 'every first monday of the month', 'every last workday of the month', etc.1 vote
Currently on a desktop with FireFox or Chrome,
Pre image text
Post image text
The Post image text is rendered before the image. It is nice to be able to introduce the image, show the image and then comment on some aspect of the image.
With numbered paragraphs, a list item containing an image presents the para number on a separate line before the Pre Image text. This breaks up my nice layout1 vote
Diigo or OutlineEdit let you copy text from a web page & insert into an outline. They have browser extensions for this.1 vote
Only first "bold" marked text/word is formatted "bold", other following (2nd, 3rd) "bold" marked text is not formatted as "bold"1 vote
To have the symbol to choose for the list where every symbol used represents a particular legend. Just as in power point presentation where we can insert legend1 vote
It would be nice to have a price\cost calculation just like the time calculation (progress counter). We could use a specific tag like #100$ or $100 in each item, and the sum total would appear on the parent item.1 vote
In Google Docs, when select a text and insert a link,
it does a google search and shows a pop-up with the top-three results,
which is what we want anyway more than 90% of the time
I demo this awesome feature here
Would love to have this in checkvist
This can be done via the Google Search API (https://developers.google.com/custom-search/json-api/v1/overview1 vote
Not sure if this is already possible: I'd like to be able to import or paste items with links. The Checkvist link structure ([link: ] is fine for most purposes, but when I paste in text from other web site with links, the links gets lost in Checkvist. Is there a way around that now, or could there be?1 vote
Similar to the Stick Header/Toolbar request. I would like to see a feature to make the right side quick reference toolbar sticky when scrolling. I'm loving the app, but I would like to be able to glance over for quick tips as opposed to entering the ? menu.1 vote
The "right arrow" shortcut comes to a dead end when it reaches a note. Shouldn't it continue through the notes and down to the next item, like "down arrow" does?1 vote
The auto completion of a task when all sub tasks are completed is useful but not in all circumstances.
For example when I manage a project I may have tasks that, in reality, are more like categories and they may contain sub-categories.
I would like to keep these always "not completed" unless I complete them manually as I may add new tasks to them later and therefore it would greatly help if they are always visible and not marked as completed with the line across (when not hiding completed tasks).1 vote
I have seen this feature in mindmapping software and would personally find it useful. For example, when I am looking at my due tasks, i tend to filter by tag. Every single task needs to be separately tagged, or it won't appear when filtered. If they inherited tags this would be more straightforwards (NB I can understand that many people may not like this, but one could make this behaviour optional)1 vote
[Bug] Adding a task while being in focus mode in another window displays the task in the "focus" window
- Open 2 checkvist windows on the same list
- Window 1: focus on one root task (shift ->)
- Window 2: add a root task
Added task is displayed in Window 1.
What is expected?
Task is not a sub-task of task focused, so it shouldn't display.
(It also happens at other levels, but only when added task is sibling of the focused task.)1 vote
In sum: I have a task that is set up to repeat once a week and generated 2 days before the due date. If I complete the task before the due date, I find that the task will reappear in my task list. It would be nice to have a task be completed until the next time it reoccurs.1 vote
Steps to reproduce: search for something across all lists.
Browse the results, moving down the items using the keyboard shortcuts.
While focused on an item, hit spacebar (to 'complete' the item).
Realise your mistake, try ctrl-z to undo. Nothing happens.
Hunt through the UI for the undo command. Can't find it.
Expected behaviour: ctrl-z should re-open the closed item.
Workaround: use 'hc' to toggle 'hide completed', locate the accidentally closed item, move focus to it and use spacebar to re-open.1 vote
Similar structure to due date 'dd'.

I tend to use one list as an Inbox and for non-project tasks. Any chance of allowing us to set one list as a "favorite" or "home" list to use a keyboard shortcut to always go to that list? Sort of like using [gh] or [hh] to return to the Lists homepage.1 vote
The only way to refresh on the web app is to scroll to the top.
This wouldn't be needed if the page would auto sync1 vote
