Wrap outline for wide windows
White it sounds a bit weird, it would be really helpful if checkvlist would support wrapping columns over to the right for wide windows (which is actually the norm these days with 16x9 laptops and monitors).
I'm think of basically how MS Word wraps columns and similar to how PDF viewers and ebook readers will go to side-by-side page views when they have the width.
In theory CSS columns would make this a pretty easy change. It could be made an option also.
This would allow the user to see more of their items on a single page. Which is actually one of the reasons I will sometimes switch to mind maps (to be clear mind maps have other values as well).
If this was added it would help if we could hide the help also to make more space.

David, thanks for the suggestion, it is interesting. Not very easy, but interesting :)
