Gmail integration
GMail integration is available via bookmarklet, see http://checkvist.tumblr.com/post/206886480/gmail-integration

@Jonathan, please create a separate request for Google Tasks integration. But I don't think we'll implement this soon.

I am not a fan of the bookmarklet option- I'd like actual API integration with Google Tasks so that the lists stay up to date in both places.

Google gadget is already available, I rename this task to Gmail integration only

I'd like to see the Gmail integration like Todoist... a click and drag. Makes the whole process of building and delegating lists much easier.

We're thinking about some kind of "shortlist" functionality. I.e. a task can be flagged in some way and all flagged tasks from all checklists will be available as a separate list. I think that such "shortlisted" tasks are a good candidate for the google gadget contents.

I like using Checkvist in a Mozilla Prism web app container. Lightweight, ultra clean UI + I can minimize the application to my tray. May be worth considering if you're thinking about adding to your gadgets. And if you install Prism and the FF addon, you just need to pull up Checkvist and select Tools --> Convert Website To Application and you're done.

I agree with nbarnwell in the sense that you'd want to use www.checkvist.com instead of a Google gadget, because the functionality would not fit in there... It would just be great to have like an accessible RSS-feed of certain taskslists, so you'd always have an overview on your Google homepage / reader of what you still have to do... The OPML export isn't accessible from 3rd party apps.

I'm not sure Checkvist really fits into a Google gadget. A simple non-hierachical to-do list (like todoist or RememberTheMilk) might, but for me Checkvist is an application I have open while I'm working. A quick passing glance when I open my browser wouldn't really do any good - I'd only have to click-through anyway.
